A full visual check of the firebox, smoke chamber, damper, flue, liner, crown, cap, and exterior masonry, plus a roof-side look where it's safe - exactly the $89 inspection. We flag anything that needs cleaning or repair before the fire, and the fee credits toward that work.

A standard Level 1 inspection ($89) is the right starting point for first use after a long disuse period. Level 2 is specifically for property transfers and post-event situations (chimney fire, earthquake, lightning), not routine first-use.
